VOLTRA I Review

After a year of use, we are finally here

After a full year of testing, I am finally sharing my feedback and thoughts on the Beyond Power VOLTRA I. I was planning to do this a LONG time ago, but they asked that I wait until the release version came out. I was already 6 months in at that point, and one of the key concerns was longevity and durability…

So I went for a full year.

Additional Details

I just finished the video review and the written review late last night, which you can check out at the links below.

Garage Gym Competition

We dropped the full details for the Fall 2024 event.

r/HomeGym

The team at MAIAK GO is doing their AMA this week. It is likely going to be one of the biggest AMAs in awhile.

They have a $1700 giveaway paired with it.

One Last Thing…

Back when I lifted at a commercial gym, one of the dudes I regularly chatted with was a MONSTER. 185lbs, probably 2% bodyfat, deadlifted 600lbs… guy was nuts. Naturally gifted athlete.

One day he came into the gym with this DIY water bottle he had welded metal pipes onto. Oddly enough I knew what he was doing. There was a Stanford research paper that got published about how lifters/athletes could lower their core temperature DURING workouts/activities, and it would allow them to perform more work at a greater intensity.

Now the problem with the study was they had some $250k machine… so it wasn’t applicable to normal people. My dude took an insulated water bottle filled with ice water, and he’d hold the metal pipes to cool himself down. It leaked, it was a mess, it MIGHT have worked…

But this week I saw an IG ad for the same idea but in a much more user friendly design.

I connected with the team, we chatted, and it looks like they are looking for testers in the near future. So we shall see!
