The big boy toy for personal massages
Or something much less sexual than that
I love me a good massage gun. And a good massage gun joke.
In 2023 Bob and Brad reached out and offered me TWO of their massage guns, the X6 and the C2. As soon as I dropped those reviews, I had people asking me about their D6. It makes sense, as lifters we tend to be on the larger side of the athlete spectrum. And a bit thicker in the legs especially.
So a more high powered massage is often something we are aiming for. Bob and Brad happened to poke me in January this year and wanted to send me another massage gun. I told them that YOU had asked about the D6, and they sent one over.
Over the last 2 months I’ve been tinkering and testing, taking notes, and I’ve wrapped up my review. I heavily compare the D6 to the X6 Pro, which was my go-to massage gun at the time.
I will say that the D6 is now my current go-to, though it is far from perfect for a personal use device.
Garage Gym CompetitionWe just announced one of my all time favorite sponsors… Wall Control! Technically we announced Gym Pegboards, but that is a side offering of Wall Control, meant for the Home Gym world. Expect some cool stuff coming from this brand in the future, but in the meantime, check out more on Wall Control and their sponsorship with the GGC. | r/HomeGymWe dropped our newest Targeted Talk on Safety In The Home Gym. This should be a good chat, where we can all learn a little about how to not die in our favorite room of the house. |
Discount CodesBig shout-out to some of you who are using these links and codes. Even with a big sale like a Powertec Levergym, I only get a small fraction of the sale… But all those fractions truly add up over the year. So… thank you! Oh, and I snagged a couple new codes this week… |
One Last Thing…Freak Athlete made some updates to the Nordic Hyper GHD. These are small tweaks, so don’t freak if you already bought one. Little stuff that will make an overall improved product… not quite a V2, I’d call it a V1.1 I updated the write up last week with new pictures and details. |
