BaseBlocks Nordic Plus Review
The Budget King?
August is Nordic Back Extension month… And I just finished the second review for this fun category of equipment. The first was of course the Freak Athlete Nordic Hyper GHD… and today we have the BaseBlocks The Nordic Plus.
This is the current budget offering in this category coming in at under $400. I’ve owned some budget equipment in the past that surprised me, even at my 6ft 250+lb build. So I was intrigued to take this one for a ride.
The past several months have gleaned some insights and today I’m sharing it all in this written review.
Additional Details
I did not do a video review for this one, as my plan is to do a side-by-side-by-side-by-side comparison of the Shogun, Freak Athlete, Tib Bar Guy, and BaseBlocks units.
So I’ll be working on the other two and then wrapping up that video before the end of the month (if it all goes according to plan).
Garage Gym CompetitionLast week I managed to publish a couple articles for the GGC… Sometimes I’m the writer and sometimes I’m the editor on chief. This one is the latter, with Josh Max writing about building a DIY Cable Pulley System for under $100 | r/HomeGymGot a chance to talk to my dude Shaun from Crandall Fitness about his upcoming AMA. |

One Last Thing…Since we are talking about Nordic Benches all month long, this new one just dropped. The NordStick team is going to send one my way, but it won’t get here for a few months. So it won’t go in the showdown, but will get a full overview later in the year. |
